The Wellness Spa

Prelude: Was craving Thai Tea prior to my appointment at The Wellness Spa. I figured since my face was going to experience thorough extractions, I might as well enjoy one bittersweet moment. Simply because, following my facial, I do intend to stay away from anything that'll clog my pores and leave my skin dehydrated. Unfortunately, it pains me to admit that my beloved Milk Tea/Thai Tea isn't necessarily the best for my skin.
Thai Tea w/ Basil seeds and Lychee jelly
I've only started my skin care check ups at The Wellness Spa sometime last fall, this entry briefly describes the procedure and experience.

☆ The Owner/Found, Mercedes (Licensed Esthetician/Massage Therapist/Certified Microdermabrasion Therapist) is not only honest, friendly and and easy to spark a conversation with, she's also had over 20 years of experience.

☆ Mercedes provides high quality, hands-on treatment, expert care and advice. In addition, The Wellness Spa offers medical grade products personalized to every client's specific skin conditions. I've yet to try the products because I'm currently stocked up on my usual skin care items, but I've heard quite a rave about the products available! Definitely looking forward to try out in the near future, cannot wait.

Comfortably wrapped, pillow on the knee for additional comfort.
Love how it's so calm with the music playing, practically fell asleep!
Deep Pore Cleansing Oxygen Facial begins!
Face is wrapped in plastic wrap, thoroughly opens all my pores. Thank goodness!
Letting the cream work it's magic, it got quite warm around my face during this part.
Plastic wrap begins to be removed, time for hands on deep cleansing extractions!
Concluding with zaps across my face, prevents acne breakouts in a minimal amount of time.
Slight sting sensation, but as the saying goes, beauty is pain. lol
Mercedes was more than gracious enough to provide 5% off my readers that mention "@Taodiego/Taodiego.blogspot.com"
And the best part is the offer has no deadline!
The offer is for the service that I had in this blog entry, it's called the Deep Pore Cleansing Oxygen Facial (30 minutes) for $50.00. Believe me this price is more than reasonable! The results are outstanding, procedure has cleared out my pores completely. My nose especially was entirely clogged prior to this procedure, and consequently it was interfering with my daily skin care routine. I assure you these facials are essential to the skin, who wouldn't want their skin to feel rejuvenated at such an affordable price?

Set up an appointment today!

Change

I believe that to a certain degree, everyone must continue to make changes in their life.

After all, change is inevitable.
It applies to everything and anything that relates to your life, after all you're in control of your own body. I'm assuming that not everyone has asked themselves, "what do i want to change in my life?" at least once today. It's likely because you're submerged in the daily life responsibilities, and that the underlying fact has slipped your mind. Or at least, you allowed yourself to subconsciously dismiss the thought, because you've validated that there's not enough time in your day.

Don't worry, first off if you're reading this blog entry, thank you. And please, if you haven't already, take a moment to ask yourself what areas of your life you want to change.

If you're in school, it's common for a red flag to be raised when you think about your friends. That's perfectly acceptable, you are granted that right to label another as friend or merely acquaintance. You're granted that right to say, you know what, why am i friends with these people?
In due time, you'll meet significant people if you're a genuine, selfless, trustworthy individual/friend. I can assure you that, without a doubt because there is so many people on this earth.

Maybe you want to change your current diet, skin care routine, workout routine?
That's perfectly acceptable, I believe that every individual is entitled to feel comfortable and happiest within their own skin. Through any means if necessary, I'm sure everyone has their moments of undeniable vanity. Embrace that moment, why are you not entitled to flaunt how comfortable you feel in your skin? That being said, there's quite a different between flaunting how comfortable you feel, and outright bragging that you're substantially 'better looking' than most people. That's just arrogant, and at all costs should be avoided.

One of my favorite bloggers (I would say my favorite blogger, but I have quite a few that I love unconditionally) Yutakis James embraces his vanity in what I believe is the most acceptable way, I've attached a link to his blog as well for your viewing purposes. Quite the idol he's been of mine for several years, always hope to one day meet him!

The point I'm trying to get across is, by any means necessary (procedures, rigorous skin care, etc) entitle yourself to feel most comfortable with your body in this lifetime.

As the new year continues, allow yourselves to make change for the better of your own well being, as well surrounding environment. I do wish you all the best in this task, it's quite honestly not the easiest task if you're new to it. Just know that i support you and your goals, and that through a solid work ethic and passion towards your goals, anything is quite possible in this lifetime.

Change is inevitable, it has fallen under a preconceived notion that anything related to it must hold a negative connotation.

Manipulate change to your own benefit, not a grueling obstacle in your day to day life.
