Solitude

Apologies, I had originally planned on writing this the following day after it took place. Unfortunately, with an overload of the new school semester and work. . I postponed it for about a week.

Since the moment I woke, it hadn't been anything but a dreary Sunday afternoon. I had absolutely no desire to do anything, and I didn't quite understand why. Maybe, I had fallen victim to the cold weather? Who knows, it must of been some genuine reason. . (Probably just lack of energy, and consistently telling myself that being productive is a drag. lol) I received mail from Kiehl's inviting me for a free facial at one of their local stores. Well, why would I possibly turn it down?

I came to the conclusion that I wanted to be a loner for the day, and that contrary to popular belief. . I could likely benefit from a day of utter solitude. Human beings have a common habit to overwork themselves beyond their limitations, and most the time they don't have a say in the matter. It's a rather solemn truth, but I must have it known.

Arrival at Arden Fair Mall!

First stop is Urban Outfitters, still can't get over this Royal Blue Stussy cardigan.

Urban Outfitters is a nice store, unfortunately the prices aren't realsitic.
Kiehl's free facial voucher, and don't you think this Adidas crewneck has a vintage feel to it?

Shockingly enough, there wasn't too many people throughout the mall.

Free facial had begun, such a sweet and educated lady asked what skin care problems I want to address. I chose "Oily" because lately it has become a bit overboard. I felt very calm and relax, and the lady applied the products onto my face. It had only took about eight minutes, and I looked around the store for items. She gave me plenty of samples, and even pointed out that some red areas on my face dissipated. Quite funny, we both chatted and discovered we're both from the same city. I also hadn't noticed that there was treats for guests in front of me, otherwise I would of had to try some for myself.

Went into the food court afterwords, only to notice a sign that stated Cold Stone was introducing  Boba tea? Odd, I couldn't quite grasp the concept an American ice cream parlor chain was going for. I'll have to give a try sometime, and hopefully it's not a waste of time and money.
Going up the escalator, quite a nice view of all the visitors.
On my way out the mall, Kiehl's radiates a heavenly atmosphere.

Seconds away before leaving the mall, couldn't stop laughing at the site of this. It looks like everyone is trapped inside Starbucks, lol. Maybe it's just me, but there was something humorous about this.

Made a surprise visit at my aunt's house, such a peaceful time.

Met up with a couple of friends afterwards, naturally I had to have my Milk tea at 11:55 PM! I made it five minutes before they closed, but I can't deny that I was driving a bit fast.
Allow more time for yourself, fact of the matter is most people aren't doing so. They're too self indulged in all they do that isn't necessary, and most of the time it's related to money.
Making more money is similar to approaching a shinigami (note: in Japanese, a shinigami is a Death God who invites humans towards their death), it can't possibly end in your favor.

ps: A minor nosebleed occurred before I could publish this entry, I'm certain it's due to working two eight hour work shifts in two consecutive days. Fortunately, I don't have work tomorrow and will be certain to relax a bit more this weekend.

until next time,

01:25

I arrived home after some time out with friends, and well enough the entire neighborhood and my family are sleeping (typical, eh.)

Between morning and night the thought process of individuals definitely have some change. And if you stay up too late at night, a majority of people will go blank from exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

Note: sleep is crucial, reminder that a good amount of sleep has plenty benefits. It's funny, I am one of the individuals that cherish sleep, a nap or even just a few minutes with my eyes closed

Consequently, many would assume that I get plenty of sleep and what not. . Well, to be honest that's the farthest of the truth. And that got me to think, why is that? It's practically my own contradiction, a paradox or pitiful irony

Moments in our lives will occur when we will willingly contradict our own morals. I don't believe it's always too bad of a thing, do what makes you happy. Of course, do so in a matter of wellness and without disruption of the lives of others.

If you have a set dream or goal, why have you given up on it so soon?

Yes, I'm writing this under the presumption that you've given up on it or rather you've set it aside reality. Tell me, what has stopped you? Why are you letting go of the dream so dear to you? Who's stopping you? What could possibly be stopping you?

Yes, I understand that these are relatively tough times and that they're dreams for a reason. But there's a fine line between coming to terms with giving up on your dreams and falsely believing that you aren't capable of making it a reality. There's always a solution, mind you, perception is commonly stereotyped as only sight through your eyes. Close your eyes, take some time to recollect your own dreams, desires and passions. Know that you are not alone on your quest, despite a chilling sensation conjured up by your own mind to gradually part you from your dreams. A calm and transparent mind will radiate upon other individuals, and create an atmosphere of hope and prosperity in all that you do. Don't doubt yourself, you're much too capable of reaching your own dreams to second guess yourself so soon. A wise individual will find hope in every circumstance, and with that comes unlimited solutions.

Money

Common misconceptions of money:
  • Money will make you happy
  • Money will make you handsome (unisex) or beautiful (unisex)
[note: I wrote unisex because a male may want to be beautiful, just as a female may want to be handsome.]

Breaking down the misconceptions of money buying happiness.

Money

Money simply can't buy happiness, because happiness is an expression - there really isn't any set price. I mean, do you see happiness for sale anywhere in this world? No, that's because it's up to the individual to take account of their own happiness. New or past research has always come to the conclusion that money cannot buy happiness, they even go as far to say that materialists are shallow and lonely. If you've read the news with lottery winners, a majority loses all their money and actually ends up seeking much more happiness! A bit odd how they manage to spend millions, but that's beside the point.

Money is paper, with no backbone to support itself or others. How could it possibly bring you happiness? Besides, money is dirty and smells bad all the time.

Expressing my view of using money to enhance vanity

Of course, money can buy you countless cosmetic products and expensive procedures.
Yes, we've all seen advertised products that are suppose to dramatically enhance your skin, eyebags and honestly any kind of flaw you could find in yourself. It can truly be a waste of money, and a false sense of hope that leaves an individual looking much worse. Of course, each individual going into said procedure should be aware of what they're going into and the risks involved. I'm not at all saying that getting procedures is any way a bad thing, I'm only expressing my view on the subject. Many of favorite bloggers have gotten procedures done in Korea, I support them undoubtedly but wonder why they've made it a consistent pattern. I would hope they themselves aren't doing so to gain higher self esteem. I feel strongly about expressing to them that they don't need procedures, there natural looks and skin care routine is more than enough. I only hope that they do it for themselves, and not of concern for how others view them.

Everyone is unique in their own way, I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinions and choices.

Intro

Hello,

If you've decided to click on the link that lead to this page, thank you.

I will tell you further details of the vision for this blog, let's begin.

I had envisioned to start blogging at a much younger age, and I did via Tumblr - but I didn't feel that was the blogging I had intended.

I thought that I would start blogging (via blogger) in summer of 2014, but something didn't quite feel right.

Alas, it's the start of the new year and I believe that it's time to begin my blogging.

(sorry, at this point I'm rambling on and have probably gotten very sidetrack.)

Now to the point, what is Taodiego? Why should i follow Taodiego?

 "Who is Taodiego?"
  • Taodiego (aka: Diego) is a boy residing in the United States.
"Why should i follow Taodiego?"
  • It truly depends on the individual, you may enjoy following my day-to-day life. Although I can assure you that my life is anything but ordinary, all i can really say with certainty is that more will be revealed shortly.

    until next time,
