Common misconceptions of money:
- Money will make you happy
- Money will make you handsome (unisex) or beautiful (unisex)
[note: I wrote unisex because a male may want to be beautiful, just as a female may want to be handsome.]
Breaking down the misconceptions of money buying happiness.
Money
Money simply can't buy happiness, because happiness is an expression - there really isn't any set price. I mean, do you see happiness for sale anywhere in this world? No, that's because it's up to the individual to take account of their own happiness. New or past research has always come to the conclusion that money cannot buy happiness, they even go as far to say that materialists are shallow and lonely. If you've read the news with lottery winners, a majority loses all their money and actually ends up seeking much more happiness! A bit odd how they manage to spend millions, but that's beside the point.
Money is paper, with no backbone to support itself or others. How could it possibly bring you happiness? Besides, money is dirty and smells bad all the time.
Expressing my view of using money to enhance vanity
Of course, money can buy you countless cosmetic products and expensive procedures.
Yes, we've all seen advertised products that are suppose to dramatically enhance your skin, eyebags and honestly any kind of flaw you could find in yourself. It can truly be a waste of money, and a false sense of hope that leaves an individual looking much worse. Of course, each individual going into said procedure should be aware of what they're going into and the risks involved. I'm not at all saying that getting procedures is any way a bad thing, I'm only expressing my view on the subject. Many of favorite bloggers have gotten procedures done in Korea, I support them undoubtedly but wonder why they've made it a consistent pattern. I would hope they themselves aren't doing so to gain higher self esteem. I feel strongly about expressing to them that they don't need procedures, there natural looks and skin care routine is more than enough. I only hope that they do it for themselves, and not of concern for how others view them.
Everyone is unique in their own way, I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinions and choices.
until next time,
